Luistermans then moved into the manufacturing industry, working as a Production Analyst for 3M Canada. In the tape division, Jan Luistermans analyzed production and developed methods for efficiency within the company. 3M seeks to make products that can better its consumers’ lives, and Luistermans’ job was to create a sense of fluidity during manufacturing. Luistermans’ management of the division helped the company make the most out of materials used and labor employed. With his experience, Luistermans has been a top player in valuation consulting.
